VECC 14th National Open Exhibition of Photography
41 Acceptances and 5 Awards for DAPA
This year saw an unrivalled amount of digital entries to the exhibition - 4280 entered and 884 were accepted (around 20%). So for anyone who’s feeling a little bruised by not recieving a larger number of acceptances, just think… only 1 in 5 images were accepted – so well done! Angela Adams was awarded a Selector’s Medal for The Girl Who Waited, and a Commended for The Survivor. Harry Wentworth was awarded a Highly Commended for Harvest of the Skies. Roger Evans was awarded a Commended for Leading the Line. Ross McKelvey was awarded a Commended for Out of the Blue. Lastly, a special well done to Harry Wentworth who recieved his BPE2* too!
