The Digital Artists & Photography Associates (DAPA) Group was founded in 2002 as a creative digital photography group for the enthusiastic amateur. As a group we capture a wide variety of subject matter and styles. From landscape and natural history studies to portrait and figure work, from still life to abstract and from documentary photography to travel.

DAPA Group membership is open to all UK photographers with an interest in competitive photography.

DAPA Group is a member of the Midland Counties Photographic Federation (MCPF) with affiliation to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB). Our membership is made up of purely amateur photographers from around the UK, but with the majority of members being from Midlands area.
The aim of the group is to work together as a team, in order to push the limits of our photography to the standards required for FIAP, PAGB, RPS and BPE distinctions.
By exhibiting work at National and International level our members are competing for a place in exhibitions along side some of the best amateur photographers, not only in the UK, but the world. In 2008, our members gained an impressive, 191 acceptances in UK National Exhibitions, which included 15 major awards, for prints and digital images.
In December, 2009, DAPA Group beat off stiff competition from a whole host of UK camera clubs to be crowned winners of the Digital SLR User Magazine – Battle of the Clubs, sponsored by Canon UK.
