As a club photographer, first with Wallheath Camera Club (1987) and then Smethwick Photographic Society (1990), I began entering photographic exhibitions in both National and International Exhibitions. This turned out to be a short term interest as I gave up photography in 1992 for almost 10 years. However, in 2002, with a few friends, we created DAPA Group, as a creative digital photography group for the enthusiastic amateur. Our plan was to move away from the confines of a conventional camera club, to a virtual one.
In 2008, DAPA Group joined the Midland Counties Photographic Federation (MCPF) with affiliation to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) and my interest in competitive exhibition photography started once again.
The images contained in this gallery represent my exhibition work to date (March, 2012), having gained over 600 acceptances in photographic exhibition around the world.

I currently hold a distinction with the Photographic Alliance of Great Britan (DPAGB) and an excellence distinction with the International Federation of Photographic Art (EFIAP). In October 2011 I was awarded my 5th British Photographic Exhibition (BPE) Crown Award and am now working towards my associateship (ABPE).
